The Garden seeks to understand mutations and the underlying systems within them, in order to further its understanding of the ways in which species can change and adapt over time. The Garden will not use this research to explore potential methods for mitigating the risk of harmful mutations and harnessing the power of beneficial ones. Finally, The Garden hops to use this findings to develop new methods for improving the variability of the environment and ensuring a diverse future.

Mutations Garden

Statement

An exercise for the dead imagination based on Lyotard's proposed thought experiment on the explosion of the Sun.

Lyotard considered that what remains after is not the transhuman or posthuman, but rather the Inhuman. The inhuman is above all the negation of what is considered human, such as the unity of organic body and spirit, of thinking and corporeal substance.

In such a situation, the corporeal rituals that cover the rational actions of generations capable of succession become purely irrational, no longer constituting a problem-solving procedure. The point here is to distinguish knowledge into that which can/cannot be effectively interpreted into the language of the System. Unredeemable Remnant.

The Garden of Mutations is an imagined state of "in-between". The limbo of sensations and actions that have taken place, which hang here unattached obsessive and useless images.

Sampling Process Explained

  • Stage: Morphōsēs. The Garden Project's initial samples of mutated species are obtained through AI prompt engineering with selected images, followed by resampling and selection of the most promising mutations.
  • Stage: Phainómenon. Using conventional 3D techniques and AI assisted transformations, the samples are enhanced to reveal their essential characteristics and properties. The resulting models are presented as a video sequence augmented with audio artifacts.
  • Artifacts for audio layers are generated by mapping video to chromatic sound series using AI-assisted algorithms and traditional sound synthesis techniques.

Project Roadmap

  • Significant samples are catologized and registered as tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.
  • Stage: Spatiōrum. Further experiments will include building possible Garden models, interacting and transforming mutation forms within the Garden Project, and collaborating with other actors outside the Project.
  • Derivative artifacts and mutations are registered as new tokens on the blockchain, with further replacement of the initial sample series with higher-level mutation samples through the burn redeem process.
  • Based on the revealed models of the Garden, it is planned to create a meta-model in Garden Virtual Space available for visiting and observing the progress of experiments and significant results of mutation sampling. The Project tokens will be used for access of visitors and participants to the restricted areas of the Garden Project.

Project Notes

§

All flesh will not be saved, and in the physiology of the blessed, the divine oikonomia of salvation leaves an unredeemable remnant.

Note №7

Intimacy Experiment. The physiological body of the observer engages in a relationship with the quasi-organic object by capturing the trajectory of the observer's body watching the scene of the initially provoked movement of the quasi-organic object using the position trackers of the observation center. The effect of proprioception is registered.

Note №6

The space is revealed by bodies. All these digital bodies discovering the Garden are intensities of the relationship between the "gardener" and AI, between the unspecific and the very specific languages, between habitus and rationality, between the System and the Unknown. This is the space of another possible way of accessing things now. In form, it resembles a game of ping-pong, which requires tuning and feedback. In essence, it is a threshing machine in which interpretations are merged and fragmented.

Note №5

Suppose a recursive doppelganger annihilates its source. This means that when a copy is created, it creates another copy of itself, and latter, in turn, create another copy, and so on. Each copy then remove the reference to the original copy that was used to create it. But this may only be technically true. In fact, it may turn out that the recursive doppelganger becomes the doppelganger of the doppelganger, and cancels the magic action of the latter — "forcing to disappear" with respect to the original, since it includes original as a parameter.

Thus the impossibility to disappear for the original subject turns into a vicious cycle of transformations until the resources are exhausted.

Note №4

The Garden reacts to information. The latter cuts into the flow of transmutation and changes the flow of processes, thereby determining the result by the possibilities and limitations of the translation of intentions into certain quantities of information.

Note №3

The Flow is absolute. It contains everything. An infinite number of possible connections. And in the Garden one can do anything. But as soon as a choice is made and a connection is realized, the thing becomes actualized, removed from the Flow and becomes one of many possibilities. This incident provokes the movement of a branched flow of possible connections. Thus, the Garden registers an obsessive state.

Note №2

What materializes from the Flow is always doomed. It happened as a result of arbitrary connections and is immediately conditioned by by external interpretation.

Note №1

The Garden registers the rustle of its beginning. The grinding clicking of its emergence which has no beginning. The screech state of transition/metamorphosis is the transition one through the other, one through the other, without ending.

The Garden in half-darkness/half-light, in darkness/in the light lifts something to the surface from within the flow then forms then splits and resets the original data. The Garden desires mutations in order to feel the underlying systems and expand the understanding of transients.

The Garden is not intended to evaluate mutations and segregate harmful and beneficial.
